Year 2 went off on their annual day trip to Sayer’s Croft, armed with smiles, sun cream and sun hats. The weather was glorious for our outdoor fun. We did orienteering around the site in pairs with our maps, as well as around the forest area. All your could hear were shrieks of laughter from all corners. Once we were kitted out with hard hats, we got to experience building shelters out of branches. They needed to be waterproof and bear proof. We had fun building them in teams as well as testing them with a watering can and a “local” bear.
