Dramatic Penalty Shoot Out at Cranleigh

Last Friday a team of Year 3 and 4 children took part in the football festival held at Cranleigh
Preparatory School in association with Graeme Le Saux and the Chelsea Football Club Foundation.
The day started off with a Q and A session with Graeme himself, and this was followed by a
delicious BBQ lunch before heading down to the pitches. All 16 schools started off by playing three
games to decide where they stood on the league table. We were very lucky to finish in equal 1st
position, so it came down to a penalty shoot-out, which we sadly lost, putting us in 2nd place. Each school then played a further three games in the pool matches. The children all played extremely well and to the school. To finish off the day, every player received a medal and a scrumptious afternoon tea.
