Our nursery children displayed their stunning artwork at the annual art exhibition and parent social event. It was a wonderful opportunity to showcase the progress the children have made in their pencil control, scissor control and all-round creativity.

The parents were so impressed with the standard of the artwork on display this year. We showed some of the children’s free-choice art and digital art as well as mixed media collage and process orientated art. Process art is child-directed, choice driven and celebrates the experience of discovery. The final product is always unique and the focus lies in the creation, not the outcome.

Some exhibition highlights included Jackson Pollock inspired splatter paintings, 3D versions of Kandinsky’s famous work Squares with Concentric Circles, as well as some beautiful clay sunflowers and various self portraits.
