Wandsworth Schools Cricket League Champions!
The Roche School U11 boys have won the Wandsworth Schools Cricket League. The team, made up of both Year 5 and 6 boys, have played 8 consecutive Wednesday afternoons at Spencer Cricket Club, playing schools from across Wandsworth. Exciting wins along the way against Honeywell and Belleville led to a title decider between The Roche School and Sacred Heart. In a tight game, and with Year 6 boys unavailable, the Year 5 boys got the squad over the line in a tense finish which came down to the last over.
Well done to all the boys who have contributed to the squad and worked so hard over the summer term.
