On Tuesday 17th November a team of Year 5 pupils attended a robotics day at a local primary school. The day involved building a robot using K’nex and then modifying it for different tasks. The first task was to knock down the most wooden blocks in thirty seconds. Next, the robots were modified to play football. They had to be able to dribble the ball and tackle another robot. The final task was a robot knockout- the robots battled each other to stay on a table. Our team of Luke, Olivia and Rory came joint first after all the tasks- congratulations! Our pupils showed great team work, communication and problem-solving skills throughout the day. Well done!
