Drama Productions
Drama is an integral part of life at The Roche School and we recognise the vital part it plays in developing the artistic sensibilities of children as well as enhancing their confidence, creativity and spoken language skills.
Drama methods and techniques are also used in a cross-curricular way in order to facilitate a greater understanding of a range of projects.Every year, each year group puts on a play for friends and family in which every child has a distinctive part. Family members are welcome to attend. The productions often include singing and dancing and everyone enjoys them. In this way, children develop their dramatic and musical abilities and their confidence and experience and appreciation of the arts. We aim to fully involve all children and rehearsals are arranged to ensure that the main teaching programme remains unaffected as much as possible.
