The Roche School’s annual Run 4 Us fundraiser in Wandsworth Park has become a much loved institution.
This year’s event took place on Friday 3rd May 2019 in Wandsworth Park.
The whole school takes part, raising money for their four house charities. The more laps that they complete, the more money they raise. This year an amazing £10,700 was donated. The four charities that benefit are:
Fraternity Without Borders helping underprivileged children in Mozambique.
Age UK Wandsworth supporting elderly people in our Borough.
The Evelina Children’s Hospital in Westminster treats some of the sickest children in the UK.
The Ralph Bates Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund aids research into treatment and a possible cure.

Mr. Pete spoke with representatives from the four house charities and found out what they do to help people locally and globally.
You can see their interviews in this video report on this year’s event.
The running is non-stop over six hours and the pupils put the fun into FUNdraising by dressing up for the event.
Well done to everyone who ran and a massive thank you to all who have donated. We look forward to next year’s fun run in the park!
