Year 6 Outreach

Our Year 6 Fundraising Committee recently went on a trip to visit our charity partner, Linden Lodge, a school for children with vision and sensory impairment.

Our pupils tried to make a jam sandwich whilst wearing blindfolds, and they worked in groups of four and did lego therapy. They tried out various specialist equipment that some of the Linden Lodge students use. Finally, they met a visually impaired man and learnt about his type of disability and the role of his guide dog.
