Roberto Filippi
Roberto Filippi is Professor of Cognitive Psychology and Multilingualism and Director of the Multilanguage and Cognition Lab at UCL’s Institute of Education. His research focuses on multilingualism, cognitive development, neuroscience and education, including the ways in which multilingual experience can support children’s learning and wellbeing. He has worked extensively with schools, teachers, families and policy-makers in the UK and internationally to translate research evidence into educational practice. Roberto is particularly committed to promoting inclusive approaches that recognise and value children’s home languages. He is delighted to support the Roche school as a member of its Advisory Board
