How will my child settle in?
It’s incredibly important to us that your child feels safe and happy every day. Our outstanding pastoral care ensures that every pupil is nurtured and enjoys a smooth transition to school. We invite you and your child to welcome events and taster days to ensure that children are familiar with the school and feel settled before term begins.
What are the timings for the school day?
The school is open from 8am and the bell rings at 8.35 am. The school day for Nursery pupils begins at 9am. Your child will be given a dismissal time between 3pm for Nursery aged children and 4.15pm for pupils in Year 6.
Do you offer wrap-around care?
Yes. Our wrap-around care service runs until 6pm for Nursery children and until 6.30 for older pupils (6pm on Fridays).
Do you offer transport to and from school?
Pupils from Reception upwards can book onto the morning minibus from Southfields, Wandsworth and Wimbledon, spaces permitting. We run two different routes and offer a door-to-door morning service.
How do the Spanish immersive classes work?
From Reception, families may opt for either an immersive Spanish experience for their child or weekly Spanish lessons. For those who choose the deeper Spanish experience, our immersive option goes above and beyond traditional Spanish language lessons and allows children to explore a wider range of subjects such as Art, Sport, Science, History, Geography and Religious Studies, all through the medium of Spanish teaching.
Does your school accept pupils moving from abroad?
We warmly welcome families from overseas and are proud of our status as a British Council International School. We can meet the needs of children with limited experience of speaking English, thanks to the support of our dedicated team of EAL (English as an Additional Language) teachers.
Can you cater for my child’s dietary requirements?
Yes: Chef Michael prepares fresh, tasty and nutritious hot lunches here at the school. We can safely accommodate allergies, religious observance and vegetarian preferences. Highlights of the week include Meat-free Mondays and Fruity Fridays, and pupils regularly enjoy special meals for feast days and themed celebrations. Packed lunches are additionally provided for all trips and excursions.
