Key Dates

Wednesday 7th January – Start of Term

Friday 9th January – 8am to 9am, Coffee Van Man (organised by FORS)

Dear Parents,

This week has been filled with exciting and festive Christmas activities! It started with Christmas Jumper Day and the Festive Fair organised by FORS—special thanks to the parents. The children had a wonderful time, especially enjoying the new lucky dip stall where they could win either a bouncy ball or brussels sprout! Year 5 also spread Christmas cheer by visiting the elderly residents of Pines Nursing Home on West Hill, truly capturing the spirit of Christmas.

On Tuesday, our annual Carol Concert took place at St Anne’s church. The children performed beautifully and warmed the hearts of all. Thank you, Mrs Katie, Mr Gunther and the music department, for creating a truly memorable occasion.

On Wednesday, cheesy cracker jokes, party hats and a full Christmas lunch were provided by Chef Michael and his team. In the afternoon. the Senior Choir had their final performance of the term at Putney Exchange. Meanwhile, Nursery and Reception had a special wintry celebration donning their cosy PJs and taking part in various snow-themed activities.

On Thursday, Wandsworth Nursery went to our sister nursery, Keswick House, to watch their pantomime. For the rest of the school, there was hilarious panto fun titled ‘The Incredible Christmas Story’ kindly arranged by FORS. Plenty of audience participation and daft jokes made it an afternoon to remember!

On Saturday, we have 11 children from the school who are going to be mascots at the England v Jamaica netball match. These children will be walking out with one of the teams onto the court and it promises to be a very exciting experience. Be on the lookout for them at 14.15 on Sky!
