Dear parents,
Our STEM week, this week, centred on Human Biology and offered enriching experiences for all students. Upper School students visited the Centre of the Cell at Queen Mary’s University, participating in an interactive workshop about the journey of food through the body. They also engaged with virtual games and displays in the pod experience, learning about cells and their role in making a human. Lower School enjoyed an in-school workshop that provided a hands-on experience with the digestive system, cells, and DNA. A big thank you to FORS for funding these trips and workshops. Your support is greatly appreciated.
Morwenna Lewis’s talk on Wednesday on ‘‘How smart parents navigate parenting in the digital age” was well attended and we will share the video in due course. She gave some practical advice regarding how to balance screen time for our children. Morwenna is offering a free initial consultation/coaching session to any interested parents.
