The Year 5 and Year 6 netball team has done The Roche School proud by winning the Hi5 netball tournament for Wandsworth out of 33 schools.

This week, they played against Ibstock. This Hi5 final was divided into four 8 minute quarters. It was evenly matched for the first two quarters with The Roche leading 7-3 at half time. The Roche started the second half extremely well and extended their lead further. A very solid last 8 minutes of the match led to an impressive 20-4 victory.

It was an outstanding effort by everyone involved and there was an extra mention for a Year 6 boy who was voted player of the match by the opposition. We will now represent Wandsworth at the London School Games on Thursday 23rd March. We wish the team the very best of luck!
