Alumni Reunion

To celebrate The Roche School’s 40th anniversary, alumni from throughout our journey returned to the school on Thursday 5th October. They reminisced about the fun they had had, revisited old classrooms, and were delighted to catch up with former classmates and teachers. Mrs Roche, Dr Roche, and Sarah Roche were overjoyed to see them again.

Many of our alumni have moved on to top schools and universities, and are now carving out high-flying careers for themselves in finance, consulting, the public sector, journalism, and more. We are proud of their achievements, and are glad that they keep coming back to tell us their news.

Here are some comments from our alumni network on their time at The Roche School:

“Thank you for some of the happiest memories of my life, and lifelong friendships along the way.”

“The Roche School is such a special part of my whole family’s lives. My mum, uncle, brothers and cousins have all benefited from the fun and learning The Roche is so famous for – thank you!”

“The Roche School – some of the happiest days of my life.”

“Thank you so much for amazing years of learning and creativity.”

“Best primary school ever!”

“I was at The Roche for only two years but those years provided me with such beautiful, important core memories that I truly cherish.”

“Too many great memories to pick just one.”

“May all the team treasure the impact they have had. Here’s to the next 40 years.”

The Roche School started life with five children in 1983 when Carmen Roche opened “Mrs Roche’s Coaching Establishment”. The focus on “thorough teaching in a homely environment” was popular with families, and led the tutorial school to grow rapidly. Pupils achieved excellent results including scholarships to top schools like Westminster, Wycombe Abbey and St Paul’s, whilst having lots of fun – just as they do today.
